Jay Sharp is 90 and still wailing away on iron. He's making damascus knives, spurs, and bits that take you breath away. He'll be in Salinas at our shop, for two days, Saturday and Sunday, March 27th and 28th with Shayne Carter, past member of the American Farrier's Team and an accomplished blacksmith in his own right.

  Jay and Shayne will oversee fun forging contests, match play and jackpot (see flyer for details), open judging and one heck of a Birthday party in the barn.

  Lots of inexpensive lodging in Salinas is easy to get to. Salinas is south of San Jose, and north of Paso Robles on the 101. Vendors, you'll have free tables to set up your products for display.
